About the Journal
Aim and scope:
SJ Gynecology and Obstetrics Africa is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published in online (ISSN: 3006-5143) and print (ISSN: 3006-5135) formats and indexed in Embase. The journal publishes original scholarly work across all areas of basic, translational, and clinical research in obstetrics, gynecology, and related disciplines.
The journal considers original research articles, systematic and narrative reviews, case reports, and letters to the editor that contribute to scientific understanding and clinical practice in women’s health. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, maternal health, reproductive health, gynecologic oncology, infertility, family planning, adolescent health, and public health aspects of obstetrics and gynecology.
SJ Gynecology and Obstetrics Africa encourages submissions from researchers at all academic levels, including students, provided that manuscripts demonstrate methodological rigor, ethical approval where applicable, and scholarly relevance.
The Journal was established on Sunday, 31 December 2023 and it is Published by SJC Publishers Company Limited.
